Each year, AMI awards George Kastler Interpreter Scholarships to one undergraduate and one graduate student who plan to enter the field of interpretation. To qualify for the scholarships, students must be either a graduate student or a junior or senior undergraduate, attend a Missouri college or university, and be studying in the field of interpretation (biology, environmental education, parks and recreation, wildlife management, cultural history, etc). Scholarships include $500, registration for the upcoming AMI Conference, and expenses to attend the conference. The application period for scholarships is now open, and will run to July 15. The application can be downloaded here as a Microsoft Word Document or an Adobe PDF file.
