Nearly 70 AMI members, new and old, gathered in Joplin from August 20-23 for the 2007 AMI Conference.
Our theme was "Meet us at the crossroads to build connections to our heritage."

Participants RELATED to the butterflies and plants at Prairie State Park.

Diane Neal, Best Presentation winner, and other presenters INSPIRED us with creative new interpretive ideas.

NAI's Region VI Director, Kelly Farrell explained many faces of INTERPRETATION from fact vomiting to her personal quarter design.

The unique "Spook light" SPARKED our imaginations.

Our members demonstrated their PASSION for interpretation through music while at Wildcat Glades Conservation and Audubon Center.

Thank you conference committee, volunteers, and participants for relating, inspiring, sharing passion, sparking ideas, and fostering interpretation for the Association of Missouri Interpreters!
